Congratulations on your engagement! We love to get grooms looking their best for such a momentous occasion. If you are planning on having a custom suit made for your wedding it is recommended that you start the process at least eight weeks prior to your wedding date. This will allow sufficient time for your suit to be made, come in for a try on, and have any alterations made if necessary.

When purchasing a custom suit it is a good idea to plan for at least two appointments. Your first appointment will surround taking measurements and making style selections with your clothier. Your second appointment will be to try on your new suit. If everything is perfect, you will get to take your new suit home at the end of your second appointment. If minor adjustments need to be made to perfect your fit, then we will make those adjustments and have you back for an additional appointment.

When planning for your first appointment with us to have a custom suit made, it's good to plan on being with us for at least an hour and up to two hours. That allows time for you to make your fabric selections and style choices and have your measurements taken. Your second appointment for trying on your finished suit should only take 30 to 40 minutes depending if adjustments are necessary.

Occasionally we get asked about group fittings, usually in relation to weddings and fitting groomsmen. The answer is yes, we are happy to accommodate your group fitting. If getting fit with a group is something you would like to do, it is important to let your clothier know when scheduling that your appointment will be for multiple people. 

Guests are welcome to accompany you during your appointment but please take into consideration that space is limited in our showrooms and fitting areas. If family members or other guests are joining you, it is recommended to limit that number to two or three people. 

All of our garments are expertly made by master tailors in our own manufacturing facility in Thailand. Thai tailors are famous the world over for their aptitude and exceptional craftsmanship.

Having a custom suit made is an exciting experience and you are probably wondering how long it takes to turn around your order. In most cases, your new suit will be ready in just 4 to 6 weeks. In some instances, if you need it quicker than our standard timeframe, your order can be expedited for an additional cost.

When it comes to fitting larger sizes, you may ask if there is a price increase that comes with the amount of fabric we utilize in the construction of your suit. The answer to that is regardless of size, big or small, our prices remain the same.

While getting fitted for your suit comes at no charge, we generally will not go through the fitting and measuring process until you are ready to commit to purchasing a suit.

When you purchase a suit from us, we create a fit profile for you that will store all of your measurements, posture adjustments, and fit preferences. This way, when you are ready for additional suits, shirts, or separates, all of your fitting information is on file to make additional garment purchases a breeze.

When purchasing custom clothing, we take payment at the end of your fitting appointment after you have made your selections and have had measurements taken. If you happen to change your mind about your purchase after it has been processed, you have 24 hours to cancel your payment before we start production on your suit.

Our refund/return/exchange policy differs from that of a traditional retail setting. By nature of our products being custom made for you, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds. Breathe easy knowing all of our products are backed by our Perfect Fit guarantee. That means we will alter or even remake your suit until you are satisfied with your fit and finish.

With our direct model, we offer our suits at extremely competitive price points. For that reason, we don't offer additional discounts. When it comes to student, military, or clergy discounts, we do not offer special pricing. However, with a wide range of premium offerings, we have options to fit most budget ranges.

We absolutely offer gift certificates. It’s a great gift option for someone in your life that just seems to have it all. Gift certificates can be purchased either in store or online.

All of our suits come backed by our perfect fit guarantee.  Oftentimes, after your first try on, some minor adjustments need to be made– for instance, a pant hem shortened, or your jacket taken in. These are taken care of by trusted local tailors and included with your purchase.

Weight fluctuation can happen between the time of your measurements being taken and the garments being received. If you are planning on bulking up at the gym or shedding a few pounds before you want to wear your suit, it is important that you reach your goal weight before getting fitted. If in the event your body does change between your fitting and try on, we can usually alter the garment to accommodate for those changes within reason. A good rule of thumb is a garment can be altered within about 10 pounds of fluctuation from your weight at the time of measurement. 

When it comes to alterations, we only make them to suits we have produced. If you have an older suit that is in need of alterations to fit properly, we are happy to recommend to you reputable local tailors that offer those services.

We are occasionally asked if we offer rentals. Here at H.M. Cole, we dedicate our focus toward producing top quality custom made suiting and for that reason we do not offer rentals. If rentals are something you are looking for we are always happy to help with a recommendation to a reputable vendor in your area or online.

We are centered around the importance of fit and finish in the clothing that we produce. Body type and natural posture vary from person to person, even within the same standard clothing size; that is why we only offer custom, made to order, suits and separates to ensure you walk away with the best fitting clothes possible. 

Our suits come as a jacket and pants. Vests can certainly be added to your suit and come at an additional price in relation to whichever fabric level selection you make.
